GMPHOM FLOAING AND SUBMARINE HOSES
OCIMF FLOAING AND SUBMARINE HOSES/OFFSHORE FLOAING AND SUBMARINE HOSES DESIGN SOLUTION: TANDEM MOORING
Gmphom floating and submarine hoses systems are typically used in water depths less than 80 meter, but more sophisticated designs are in service in deeper waters.
Tandem Mooring is used for the transfer of oil and oil byproducts typically from FSO, FPSO, FSU, FSRU and other extracting facilities to shuttle tankers. It can be floating or submarine, and it can be left hanging off the vessel’s side or wrapped on a reel.
Standards and Specifications
We design and produce GMPHOM/ocimf floating and submarine hoses in full accordance to OCIMF standards. These products are also subjected to manufacturing and testing requirements dictated by ISO 9000:2001 quality standards.
Electrical Continuity: A low resistance connection will be provide with a copper wire and helix steel wire.
Construction:
1. Inner layer: NBR compound synthetic rubber
2. Reinforcement: high tensile strength fabrics with helix steel wire
3. Cover: CR synthetic rubber
4. Ideal working temperature: -25 to 82℃
5. Safety factor: 5:1
Rated working pressure
These gmphom ocimf floating and submarine hoses have a RWP of at least 15 bar. 19 bar and 21 bar hoses are also available if specified by the customer. They are suitable for operation at an internal pressure from minus 0.85 bar to the RWP.
Flow Velocity
The linings of our gmohom ocimf floating and submarine hoses content are from elastomers and fabrics suitable for continuous operation at a flow velocity of 21m/s.
Resistance to Temperature, Oil products and Aging
The gmphom ocimf floating and submarine hoses are suitable for use with crude oil and liquid petroleum products from -20℃ to 82℃, and an aromatic hydrocarbon content no greater than 50% by volume.
Tandem mooring system are commonly used to transfer cargo from storage vessels like FSO’s, FSU’s and FPSO’s etc. to various types of shuttle tankers.
The cargo offloading hose strings are permanently attached to the various storage vessels, either via fixed rigid manifolds or hose reels, from which they are deployed to the shuttle tankers midship or bow manifolds. The specific type of loading system will dictate what type of offloading hoses can be used, which could be either floating, submarine, or catenary types, all of which are available in single or double carcass designs.
